Neighbouring Institutions

The Kootenays are a sea of mountains, lakes, and forests tastefully ornamented with an occasional community. The population is slightly smaller than that of Prince Edward Island, but it is spread over nearly ten times the area. It is remarkable that such a widely dispersed people have produced the wealth of museums and art galleries shown here, although a few of these links are to neighbouring valleys, and two are across the border, yet, this is still an impressive list.
